Built to charge large batteries quickly, this lithium / LFP / LiFePO4 charger will charge any lithium battery at a rate of 45 amps. Lion Energy has optimized this charger for use with our lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP).
Not recommended for charging lead acid or SLA batteries, it is too powerful. This charger is rated at 45 amps and will charge a Lion Energy UT 1300 105 Ah battery in 2.4 hours or our UT700 56 Ah in 1.3 hours. All 12 volt Lion Energy lithium batteries should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger like this one. SLA chargers will reduce the performance and lifespan of the battery.

FOR 12 VOLT LITHIUM BATTERIES
We highly recommend you use a LiFePO4 compatible charger. 12v chargers for lead acid batteries may work, but will decrease performance and lifespan of the battery.
Cable connections make it easy to connect your charger to the battery. Install the ring terminals using the bolts on your terminals. Bolt black to your black terminal. Red to your red terminal. Do not short circuit.
SMART BMS COMMUNICATION
Charger will restart or "wake up" a Lion Energy BMS that has turned off a battery due to short circuit or excessive amp draw. Simply connect the charger to the battery to initiate a restart.
HOW FAST WILL MY BATTERY CHARGE?
Charges at a rate of 45 amps. To determine your charging speed take the amp hour rating of your battery and divide by 45. For example, a 105 amp hour battery (Ah) would charge in 2.3 hours.
WHAT VOLTAGE SHOULD LIFEPO4 BATTERIES BE CHARGED AT?
14.6 volts is recommended for Lion Energy Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. This charger charges at 14.6 volts.

Warranty, Returns & Manuals
The Lion Energy return policy lasts 30 days from your purchase date. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund.
Please note, all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging or in packaging sent to you by customer service.
To complete your return, we need a receipt or proof of purchase and will be asked to send this information to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted (if applicable):
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, is missing parts (for reasons that are not the fault of Lion Energy), is returned more than 30 days after the purchase date.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected (and approved) your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable number of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account. Then, contact your credit card company or financial institution, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Lion Energy only replaces items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and include a receipt or proof of purchase, a serial number, and any pictures of damage (if applicable). You can also call our Customer Service line at (864) 365-1762 or use the chat function on our website.
Once your original unit is delivered back to Lion Energy and received into their computer system, the replacement unit will be cleared to be sent out from their warehouse. The time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on where you live.
To return your product, you should contact us at email@example.com, call (864) 365-1762, or use the chat function on our website and request a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) through our Customer Service department.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless otherwise specified by a Customer Service representative. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
